The Israeli Occupation has continued its assault on the Gaza Strip by land, air, and sea for 301 consecutive days since October 7, 2023. This ongoing aggression has resulted in the deaths of 39,480 Palestinians, the majority being women and children, and injuries to 91,128 others.

The body of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of Hamas, who was assassinated in Tehran, has arrived in Qatar.

In a phone call, U.S. President Joe Biden reassured Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of the United States' commitment to the security of "Tel Aviv" against any threats from Iran, according to the White House.

Iran has formally notified the United Nations of its intention to carry out a retaliatory act in self-defense against Israel, citing Article 51 of the UN Charter. American officials believe that Iran may attack Tel Aviv within days in response to Haniyeh's assassination. Israel is reportedly preparing for this response, which could be similar to a previous attack on April 13.

The conflict traces back to October 7, when Hamas's military wing, the Qassam Brigades, launched Operation Al-Aqsa Flood in response to Israeli violations in the Palestinian territories. Israel responded with a military operation called "Iron Swords," leading to significant casualties and widespread destruction in Gaza.

Since the beginning of the ground operation on October 27, Israeli military casualties have reached 689, with 4,249 soldiers injured, including 628 in critical condition.
